Activities & Events Outwith Our Parish

Dowry of Mary; Sunday 29 March.

Basic RGB

On Sunday 29th March this year, it was planned that England would be rededicated to Our Lady as ‘Dowry of Mary’ (a title which has been in use – intermittently – for almost a thousand years).

In our diocese this is planned to take place at Walsingham, in every parish and in as many homes as possible.

However, the following announcement has been posted on the website:

Basic RGBIn the current circumstances, it is clear that we will not be able to come together to make The Rededication.  As this is a personal act, we are able to make The Rededication at home and still be united together in prayer.  At Mary’s Basilica in Walsingham, a very small group will be joining together to make The Rededication and it will be live streamed so that all may join together if they wish.

Livestream will be live 29th March 2020 at 12 noon.

Please use the Behold booklets which are freely available at the back of St Benet’s
