25 September – An Author in our Midst!
I received this little note from Hilary Harrison, who with her family – Thomas, Digby and Celeste – contributed so much to our Family Mass and also to our celebration of Christmas with a weekly rendition of an appropriate carol or hymn, posted on “YouTube” for all to enjoy.
I thought the parish would like to know I’ve just published a book on living aboard our barge!
Here is the Amazon link, in case you feel inclined to a) read it or b) share on the newsletter/website or c) both!!
Lots of love
Hilary Harrison

25 September – Disposal of Printer Cartridges FREE!!
As “EDGE” Computers no longer collect used cartridges – does anyone know of an alternative collection point or a charity who would want them?
Please just email tmob@sapo.pt and I will be happy to share the info.
DECEMBER 2020
Fundraising for Congo School for Peace
Most parishioners will be aware that Mary Ellwood – with the assistance of some willing helpers! – usually organises a “Christmas Stall in the Parish Hall” to raise funds for this very worthwhile Charitable enterprise.
They have achieved wonders over the years and deserve the support of us all.
Sadly, this year it will not be possible to do the usual “Hands On ” shopping for the great bargains Mary has collected. Instead we are trying a range of different ways of letting you know what is available.
We hope to tempt you to buy some of these brand new articles – it’s not a Jumble Sale! These might be for yourself or they could make attractive gifts for family and friends.
Here is the initial list of items available; with some photographs to give you an idea of what goods actually look like!
If you are at all interested in amy of the items, please call Mary Ellwood on 01502 716 960 and she will arrange a mutually convenient time and place to meet and view the article(s) of interest – all with no commitment!
